In June 2023, ENEKOM received a silver award from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia – Regional Chamber of Gorenjska for innovation entitled “Implementation of machine learning in ENIS 3.0 as a tool for improving AcEM”.
The innovation represents an important step in the development of smart energy systems, as it introduces advanced artificial intelligence methods to monitor and optimize energy use in industrial environments.
ENEKOM received a silver award from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia – Regional Chamber of Gorenjska for innovation entitled “Implementation of machine learning in ENIS 3.0 as a tool for improving AcEM”.
The authors of the innovation – Jaka Dolenec, Gregor Kustec and Vid Bevčar – have incorporated machine learning methods into the ENIS energy information system for advanced evaluation and active management of energy use.
The introduction of new functionality enabled automatic data analysis and recognition of consumption patterns, which helps users make more effective decisions and contributes to energy efficiency.
The upgraded ENIS 3.0 system is already in use in two large industrial companies, where the results show an increase in energy efficiency of approximately 3% per year. This confirms the great potential for further energy savings and reduction of environmental emissions in end-users of energy.
“The recognition received confirms that the integration of artificial intelligence into energy information systems is the right direction of development. With the ENIS 3.0 solution, we have proven that advanced data analysis can directly contribute to sustainable and more efficient energy management,” emphasized Jaka Dolenec from ENEKOM upon receiving the award.
