
The director of ENEKOM, Gregor Kustec, attended an expert consultation entitled “It is time for us to take a step forward together in the development and education of cleanroom technology in Slovenia”, which was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (GZS).
The event brought together top experts from various fields, with a focus on technological innovations, regulations, and energy efficiency of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems and cleanroom technologies.
Gregor Kustec, as one of the main discussants, actively participated in the framework of Block 3: Technologies, Innovations and Regulation, which was led by Jan Močnik from Novartis. Together with other prominent interlocutors – Janez Trošt (Termoteh), Dr. Luka Lorbek (Metronik), Gregor Jeglič (Bossplast) and Prof. Dr. Alojz Poredoš (UL, SAZU).
Gregor Kustec highlighted the importance of long-term planning of energy-efficient systems, proper maintenance, and the need for closer cooperation between industry, research institutions, and regulatory bodies. He also emphasized that Slovenia, with the support of relevant associations, such as the Slovenian Clean Spaces Association (SCS), has the opportunity to become an important interlocutor at the international level.
