CHALLENGE:

Radenska has developed a high environmental culture with environmentally and energy-efficient operations and operations in accordance with social expectations. The company has an established energy information system (ENIS), which includes more than 80 meters, so the company wanted to conduct a detailed energy audit that would provide opportunities for reducing energy consumption, taking into account the operation of individual subsystems in connection with the operation of production processes.

SOLUTION:

As part of the energy audit, based on indicators from the energy information system (ENIS), own measurements, a review of the operation of the systems and their regulation, the potential for increasing efficient energy use in the amount of 5.3 GWh of final energy consumption per year was identified.

The largest share of savings in individual systems was identified in the heating system, which includes savings related to optimization of regulation and utilization of waste heat. In addition to savings in optimization of regulation of energy devices, savings were also identified in connection with more efficient use of certain consumers on the production lines themselves.

EMPHASIS:

The energy audit provided more than 30 measures for efficient energy use, which represents the company’s short-term strategy for increasing energy efficiency, with the focus primarily on upgrading active energy management.
