Eta Cerkno has started testing a smart business software solution
As part of the research and development project, the development of a new smart business software solution continues, aimed at the digitalization and optimization of technological processes.
In August 2024, the solution was tested for the first time in a real industrial environment at Eta Cerkno, where the suitability of the solution was tested on the technology of ecological preparation of foundry sand. The first results confirmed the great potential of the solution for increasing efficiency and optimizing the process.
In recent months, the first phase of testing of a new smart business software solution, which is being developed within the framework of a research and development project, has been successfully completed. After the initial tests, access to the test version was provided to the project partner – the company Eta Cerkno, where concrete testing of the solution for the ecological preparation of foundry sand is already underway.
As part of the activity, validation of input-output data was also carried out, with no major deviations identified, which confirms the stability and reliability of the developed software support.
The development teams of both partners work closely together and share knowledge and experience, enabling the integration of the most advanced methods and artificial intelligence into future versions of the system. The goal is to achieve the highest possible level of efficiency and process optimization, and contribute to the sustainable and digital transformation of production.
